Dominic Nicholas Borjas
3/15/2013 @ 1:09 pm

6 lbs 11 oz
19 inches

Welcome our sweet baby boy Dominic!  He is truly the sweetest little boy ever!  So far he loves to sleep sleep sleep!  I started the induction on Thursday afternoon.  The labor wasn't too bad until Friday at about 10:00 when the contractions started to get almost unbearable LOL.  I was stuck at 5 cm for a long long time and then all of a sudden around 12 pm I jumped to 8 cm.  The resident called my OB doctor and by the time she arrived 20 minutes later I was 10 cm and ready to push.  I only pushed for 9 mins (thank God!) and our sweet little miracle arrived!  They placed him on my belly and he peed all over us!  Another blessing!  I will forever cherish pee as it means beautiful working kidneys!  The pediatrician checked him over and said he is perfect!  The only obstacle we are currently facing now is some jandice.  I am currently waiting for a bili blanket to be delivered that we will have to use for 24 hours to get the bilirubin level down.  Then we go for a repeat blood test tomorrow to see if that helps.  I hope so!  I cannot stand watching him get his little foot poked and scraped!  :-(  Hopefully this will make him all better and life will be perfect :-)  Makayla is being a fantastic big sister too!  Such a big helper!  Just a little rough at times, but we are working on being 'gentle' LOL :-)

* Herbalife *

I am now a Herbalife Distributer!

I love their products and I am super excited to now be a distributer and help others reach their health and fitness goals!

I have been using the shakes for breakfast as part of a healthy meal and lifestyle during my pregnancy and I have only gained about 14 pounds so far and I am almost 37 weeks pregnant! This compares with a 25 pound weight gain in my previous 2 pregnancies. The shakes are super healthy and help me get all of the nutrients baby and I need each day! They have definitely helped me maintain a healthy lifestyle and they taste amazing! I can't wait to start my weight-loss journey once baby is here!  And get my booty on that treadmill!! LOL  I definitely miss working out since I haven't been able to during this pregnancy.  Never thought I would say that!

If anyone knows anyone that is interested keep me in mind!  :-)

Christmas 2012 & Makayla's Baptism

We had a fabulous holiday this year!  Makayla was the perfect age for opening presents and getting so excited!!

Here is our tree and some of my favorite ornaments....

Makayla helping mommy decorate the tree :-)  Or I should say putting the ornaments off!

My sister and my nephew came for a visit and the kids exchanged gifts.  They hardly get to see each other since they live in Columbus, so it was a very special visit.  :-)

On December 2nd, 2012 Makayla was finally baptised!  I am so happy to finally have this done!  We had a really hard time selecting godparents and getting everything together.  We decided on Nick's best friend Justin Dean and Nick's sister-in-law Donna.  Makayla was so good through mass, but by the time we got to her baptism afterwards she was not very happy!  It was nap time and she was exhausted and cranky!  Oh well, more memories LOL.  :-)

Christmas Eve we always go to the Borjas' for a big party and they make tamales every year.  Makayla had a blast playing with all of her cousins and a visit from Santa.  I didn't really get any good pictures of this evening since I was chasing her around the whole night and exhausted!  Being 7 months pregnant is really starting to wear on me!

Christmas Day we enjoyed the morning as a family just the 3 of us.  It was very nice!!  Makayla was spoiled rotten by Santa of course LOL.  I bought Nick a Kindle Fire, which really surprised him and he loves it!  I got gifts cards to Bath and Body and Victoria's Secret, so I was one happy girl!  After we were done, we headed over to Nick's parents house and exchanged with his parents and brother's family.  Then we headed to my parent's house to exchange gifts and enjoy a delicious dinner!  My parents made prime rib, shrimp and mashed potatoes.  Amazing dinner!

That's all my updates for now!  I will post soon about my baby girl turning 20 months old already!!!
Makes me so sad!  Such a big girl!

I have not posted in so long!!!!!  So much has happened in the last 6 months....

1 ~ We found out we are expecting a baby boy in March!  So far everything is going great!  I cannot believe Makayla is going to be a big sister!  I'm already so worried about how she will adjust!  I'm sure it will all be fine, but she is very much attached to being a single child!  Since I got pregnant she has been very attached to mommy too.  I feel like she knows things will be changing and she wants all of my attention!  At times it is so sweet and adorable, but other times it can make me a little crazy!  :-)  I have been working on picking out a theme for the baby's room and getting it all cleaned out since it was pretty much our storage room.  We decided on a bedding set similar to Makayla's that is blue and brown.  I'm so excited to get it next week!  No names picked out yet.  Nick and I have some very different ideas on this subject!  It is going to be a very difficult decision!  God help us!  LOL

Big sister holding her baby brother's ultrasound picture!  She was also with me the first time I got to hear the heartbeat, so that is something special that I will always remember.

Our gender reveal cake!  This was such an exciting way to find out if we were having a girl or boy! :-)

2 ~ My baby girl turned 18 months old!  This is just insane to me!  She is 22 lbs and 30 1/2 inches tall.  She is in the 10th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight.  She is our little peanut!  She is becomming much more of a picky eater for me.  And she is often not crazy about the meals that I prepare for her and they mostly end up on the floor!  I must say I am so tired of picking up food off the floor!  LOL  She loves cheese, mac and cheese, grapes, strawberries, pinapple, green beans, peas, pizza and spaghetti.  She loves to eat snacks too.  Everytime I get a snack for myself she always insists on eating half of it!  I guess this is good to keep me from snacking too much!  She is running everywhere and she is obsessed with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!  She isn't saying too many words yet, but our pediatrian does not seem concerned.  She says mama, dada, baba, nana, hi, yeah and uh-oh.  She is worked on doggy - but most of the time it sounds like dada but just a little different so I can usually tell she actually means doggy.  She likes to make this O face with her mouth and it is so cute.  Sometimes she says Oooooooh! when she makes the face.  Her hair is getting so long and she has the cutest little blonde curls.  She looks a lot like me now when I was a baby :-)  She is doing good at school (daycare).  She has been visiting the toddler room and should be making the switch soon.  At nap time she lays right down on her cot and goes to sleep!  Thinking we might just get her a toddler bed before baby comes and move her crib into the new baby's room.  We will see...  She is so curious and gets into everything!  She really tests my limits to see how far and how much she can get away with!  She loves other kids, especially her cousins.  I cannot wait for Christimas this year!  I think she is at a perfect age to make it so much fun!

Well, that is it for now.  Kay makes it a little impossible to spend much time on the computer these days!  Momma!!!!  LOL

Kay's 1st Birthday Party

Kay had a BIG 1st birthday party!  Such an amazing little girl... she was very spoiled!  Thanks to everyone who came and celebrated with us!  Not sure if I will do such a big party in the future.  It was a lot of work!  LOL  But totally worth it :)  This is a picture overload!
