Miranda!
Kim and I went to see Miranda Lambert @ the Huntington Center. We had a blast! I love Miranda even more now! What a great show!
Visiting Eli
Kay and I went and picked out some summery pinwheels to take to Eli since we are having amazing weather. She loved the pinwheels! Just made her smile like crazy! :)
Makayla ~ 10 Months
Our little girl turned 10 months old on March 5th! I cannot believe how big she is getting! It makes me really sad actually! Time is going way too fast... Our "big" girl is crawling now. She has been doing an army crawl for a while now, but has just started to actually crawl on her knees within the last couple of weeks. She loves to follow me around the house in her walker while I'm cleaning. She is beginning a picky eater. She would rather feed herself than have me feed her. So, it's been a little more difficult to fine her some finger foods that she can eat. I always worry so much about her choking! Her favorites foods are cheese and crackers. She also seemed to enjoy some spaghetti that I made the other night. :)
She is pulling herself up one everything! Getting into trouble already! She pulls herself up on the end tables and then proceeds to pull everything off of it. I have to be really careful to not leave drinks where she can reach them now! She still gets pretty upset when we leave the room. I hope this is a phase. As soon as I leave the room she will cry and start crawling after me. It's sweet, but heartbreaking at the same time! And just recently she has started to crawl and reach for me when I drop her off at daycare, which completeled crushes me! I hate leaving her when she is not happy! Her teachers are really good at distracting her though, so that helps. I just hate that I have to work and leave her... I wish I could be a stay at home mommy so much!! However, I know that is out of the question. LOL. Oh well... wishful thinking! :)
She is wearing mostly 12 months clothes right now. A few of the 9 months still fit depending on the brand. I bought some cute summer outfits the other day that I cannot wait for her to wear! It is so much fun shopping for little girls! I have to really try to hold myself back because I could really go crazy! Which is pointless since they grow so fast!!
We are super busy right now planning Kay's 1st birthday party and for the March of Dimes walk coming up on April 15th. For her birthday we are planning to fiesta! Her birthday is on Cinco De Maya, so we might as well go with the theme right?!? I'm thinking lots of bright pink and orange... cupcakes... mexican food... the works. :) The March of Dimes walk planning has been alot of work, but we have 31 walkers signed up so far! I am so over-the-top thrilled about the support we have received from everyone! We have also made $805 so far! Just amazing!! We named our team Baby Eli's Crew, so it will be a very special day for us. :)

Road Trip ~ North Carolina
At the beginning of February we decided to take a long weekend road trip down to North Carolina to visit Howard and Misty. And we got to meet their new little one Lilly, who is about the same age as Makayla! Only a week apart! We had a great time just relaxing and enjoying some good food! We haven't seen them in several years, so it was a great time catching up! And how cute are the girls together?! I wish they lived closer...

Valentine's Day
We celebrated Valetine's Day this year with Justin and Noelle. We went to eat at Stella's. I only took one picture of Kay and I, but there is also a nice surprise that I received at work that day. :)
Ear's Pierced!
On February 9th, Kay got her ear's pierced! Actually it started off as a trip for lunch and shopping with Kim and Trent, but before we left I decided to just do it! I have been holding off for some reason... also Nick really didn't want to do it. So, I just made the decision! I think it was harder on me than her! LOL
