Father's Day

For Father's Day Makayla decided to let mommy have some good sleep the night before.  She slept for 5 hours and then for 3 hours.  Very nice!  That morning I made Daddy breakfast and we relaxed for the rest of the morning.  Then we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's.  After that we headed to Nana and Papa's for dinner.  We gave each of the grandpa's picture frames with pictures of Makayla which they loved!

Sandusky Bike Week

On Saturday we went to Sandusky Bike Week with Dean and Noelle.  This is the first time we got a sitter for Makayla.  I have to admit that I cried my eyes out!  It was so hard to leave her!  But she was in good hands.  Her Grandma and Grandpa Borjas watched her for a few hours for us.  We ended up having a great time as we always do with Dean and Noelle.  :)  And I was so excited to see my baby girl when we got back!

Grandma Chris

On Friday my mom took the day off work and came over to spend some time with Makayla.  My mom is so crazy about her!  It is so sweet!

Makayla's First Wedding

On Friday we went to Nick's cousin's wedding in Millbury.  This was Makayla's first wedding and I was so excited to have her wear a dress that her Grandma Chris got for her in Mexico.  We didn't make it to the wedding ceremony since it started at 5 and Nick doesn't get home from work until almost 4.  So, we just attended the reception.  Makayla slept for a good portion of the reception, but started stirring when she got hungry towards the end.  We had a great time!

Here is her dress from Mexico.  The vendor my mom bought it from went home and made it when my mom told her that Makayla was only 2 weeks old since she didn't have anything small enough.

Mommy and Makayla.  She has the hat on that matches her dress in this picture.  It's a little big and she did not like having it on, so we just used it for pictures.

Makayla and her Nana.  She loves showing off her first granddaughter!

Elijah ~ Monument

We finally got Eli's monument put in at the cemetery.  I am really happy with how it turned out.  It's even better than I was expecting.  Can't wait til the ground dries up a little more so I can take Makayla over and take some more pictures.

Makayla ~ 4 Weeks

Life has been pretty great with our little girl so far!  I absolutely love being a stay at home mommy for 3 months.  It has already been a month and it is going by way too fast!!

Makayla has been a little colicy over the past week or two, which has been very frustrating!  Poor little girl.  Hopefully she grows out of it fast!  Love her!
