Our Christmas Tree
We put up our Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving (well I should say I put it up lol). Makayla loves the tree! She keeps rolling over to it and trying to get the gifts and the ornaments.

Happy Thanksgiving!
For Thanksgiving we started out at my in-laws to watch the Lions game and eat prime rib. Then we headed to my parent's house for turkey. Two meals! Gotta love having more than one place to go. LOL
It was so nice to see my family! I do not see them enough!

Makayla ~ 6 Months
Our big girl now has 2 teeth on the bottom! As you can see in the pictures below she is sitting up with a few occasional falls :) She is a very happy little girl! Always smiling. And she LOVES to scream! Lol
She loves going to school (actually daycare, but I like to call it school instead). The teachers always tell me how good she is. I sure hope so! She is always all smiles when I leave and when I pick her up, so that makes it easier on me to leave her. At least it is only 3 days a week!
We are enjoying our Wednesdays off together. We keep busy either running errands or going for walks or visiting friends and family.
She likes to bite and hit me in the face! She thinks it's hilarious! And I can't forgot about the hair pulling!
She is such a good sleeper! I am so lucky! She usually sleeps anywhere from 8 to 12 hours a night. And even when she wakes up, she just lays in her crib and talks and plays with her feet until I come and get her (usually).
She is rolling around with no troubles now. She used to always get her arm stuck, but now it's no big deal. She loves bath time and splashing in the water.
She is finally starting to hold her own bottle occasionally. She would still rather I hold it for her, but she is getting better. She loves to touch my face and scratch me while she is eating. Lol
She is an amazing little girl and has quite the personality already at 6 months!
Makayla, you are a sweetheart! Mommy loves you so much!! I am such a lucky mommy!! <3

Makayla ~ 5 Months
On October 5th, my baby girl turned 5 months! She is now eating ceral and fruit in the morning and a veggie for dinner. She is rolling all over the place, but she still gets that arm stuck sometimes when trying to turn from her belly to her back. She smiles all the time. She loves to scream! She's not upset, but I think she just likes the sound of screaming! LOL It's getting a little more difficult to take her to restaurants now because she doesn't want to be held the whole time unless you are walking around with her. She has been fighting her naps lately too because she doesn't want to miss anything! Which sometimes makes for a very cranky baby, but when she finally takes that nap she wakes up with big smiles on her face. She's always happy when she wakes up... so sweet! Nick has been laid off for about 6 weeks, so she has been spending the days that I go to work with him. They had some amazing bonding time together and she has him completely wrapped around her little finger LOL. He just went back to work on Monday, so Makayla went back to daycare. After 2 days she already had a runny nose! Oh the joys of daycare! But I think she really likes it there. I went to pick her up on Thursday and she was playing in an exersaucer and watching all the other kids. When she saw me she didn't even seem that excited and really wasn't ready for me to take her away from her toys to go home! Broke my heart just a little! But I guess it's good that she is so content there. She loves watching other kids crawl and walk around. I can tell she is so ready to go if she could! She is already doing that arch back thing where she wants me to put her down! She is getting way too big!
