It's sad how so many people have to deal with the loss of a child. Whether you got to meet that child or not, the pain is always there. Being blessed with another child does not erase that pain. Sometimes it only makes that pain stronger because you wish he was here to share in all of these new memories. You think about how differently things would be if he was here. How much more love you would have. For now I can find some sense of peace knowing that we will be reunited again one day.

Oh gosh Adrianne, my heart just breaks for you. I can't even imagine how painful it is to just dream of your son and daughter playing together. I am sure that having Makayla makes you miss him so much more in so many ways. You are right, though, one day you will all be together and your family will be complete! Praying for your God to help heal your broken heart as much as possible!
